Fastbraces in Surprise, AZ

FASTBRACES®️ Technologies, a true American original, is celebrating its quarter of a century anniversary of helping dentists straighten teeth now in almost 50 countries. Teeth are crooked because they didn’t erupt properly and came in tilted, sideways, overlapping or spaced apart and, as a result, they are not upright.
FASTBRACES®️ Technologies high performance bracket systems upright the roots of the teeth from the beginning of treatment with just one square wire by torquing and tipping them from the very first appointment. Treatment time for comprehensive orthodontic therapy should take more than 120 days with the FASTBRACES®️ CLASSIC™️ SERIES™️ and could take less than 120 days for non-deep bite cases with the FASTBRACES®️ TURBO™️ SERIES™️, depending on the patient cooperation and clinical experience of the treating dentist.
Most people want their braces off the second they get them on. While there are no shortcuts in orthodontics, the team at Surprise Pediatric Dentistry offers FASTBRACES® technology at their office in Surprise, Arizona. FASTBRACES can straighten your child’s teeth and correct their bite in mere months compared to the years’ long treatment time required for conventional braces. To find out if your child is a good candidate for FASTBRACES, call the office or schedule an appointment online.
Fastbraces Q & A
What are FASTBRACES?
FASTBRACES are fast, safe, affordable braces that use patented triangular brackets and a single orthodontic wire to straighten teeth in as little as three months to a year. In comparison, conventional braces take about 18 months to three years to gradually straighten crooked teeth.
How do FASTBRACES work?
Traditional braces typically straighten teeth in two stages. During the first, the braces, which consist of metal wires and square brackets, move the crown of your tooth into alignment, while the second stage focuses on correcting the position of your tooth roots. In all, this two-stage process takes about two years or more.
FASTBRACES use triangular brackets and specially shaped wires to shift the position of your roots and crowns together from the very beginning of your treatment.
In fact, they typically work with just one orthodontic wire from start to finish, eliminating the need for wire changing and lengthy tightening appointments.
While most FASTBRACES treatments take roughly 120 days to one year, many patients notice that their teeth look straighter within weeks.
For some patients with non-deep bite cases, FASTBRACES® TURBO™ could take less than 120 days depending on the individual patient.
Are FASTBRACES painful?
Research has shown that FASTBRACES are actually less painful than conventional braces because they have low mean frictional forces and a clear-cut reduction in sliding friction that allows your teeth to fit more comfortably together.
What happens during the FASTBRACES process?
Surprise Pediatric Dentistry uses comprehensive digital X-rays and impressions to accurately map out your individualized treatment plan. Once your dentist creates a plan for your child, they can place the FASTBRACES at a separate appointment.
While there will be regular check-ins with your dentist, your child does not need to come in for multiple wire tightenings like with conventional braces.
What happens during the FASTBRACES process?
Your child won’t need to wear a retainer throughout the day after having their FASTBRACES removed. Instead, they can choose to wear a retainer during an eight-hour sleep period every night for the first year.
With proper care, they may only need to wear a retainer for a few minutes a day after the first year.
FASTBRACES are the quickest, most affordable way to straighten your child’s smile with minimal discomfort. To learn more, call Surprise Pediatric Dentistry or book an appointment online.
