Dr. Andrew Triggs

Dr. Andrew Triggs is originally from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and attended the University of Iowa for his undergraduate studies. He majored in Health Science and minored in Business.

Dr. Triggs first became interested in orthodontics as a teenager.  After undergoing orthodontic treatment he experienced first-hand how a beautiful smile can improve one’s self-confidence and overall quality of life . After shadowing his childhood orthodontist during college, Dr. Triggs knew that a career in orthodontics was something that he wanted to pursue.

After graduating from the University of Iowa, Dr. Triggs moved to Arizona where he attended Midwestern University’s College of Dental Medicine. While in Arizona, Dr. Triggs met and fell in love with the warm weather, the desert climate, and one of his classmates. After graduation, he married the now Dr. Christine Triggs.

Dr. Andrew Triggs then pursued his orthodontic specialty training in Las Vegas, Nevada at Roseman University’s College of Health Sciences. There he obtained his Certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics and a Master’s in Business Administration. While in residency, Dr. Triggs earned the “The Most Outstanding Resident Award”, which was voted on by his orthodontic faculty and peers.

Dr. Triggs has a lifelong passion for orthodontics and has completed over 300 hours of continuing education in orthodontics and clear aligner therapy.  When he’s not advancing his knowledge of orthodontics, he can be found on the golf course, spending time with friends and family, and cheering for the Iowa Hawkeyes!
